Dean to ride for Credit Agricole

New Zealand cyclist Julian Dean has been selected in the French team Credit Agricole for next week's Tour de France.

After riding the tour in 2004, Dean missed last year's Tour after breaking his elbow in the Giro d'Italia.

The tour begins on Sunday morning (NZT) with a 7.1 kilometre prologue time trial and is set to be the most open in seven years after the retirement of Lance Armstrong.
